Why do I need to replace my Re-circ valve? The standard Ford valve has a diaphragm design that can collapse and cause boost leaks in conjunction with a spring only rated for standard boost pressure, once you have re-mapped vehicle the boost pressure is increased and this can cause the above faults. Turbosmart Shortie Kompact Series valves have been specifically designed to suit BorgWarner EFR and KKK turbos. They also fit the popular Ford Ecoboost engines.
